Telenutrition / Telehealth /Virtual Health

Telehealth is the delivery of health and health-related services via telecommunications technologies (e.g. phone, video conferencing, or mobile health apps). Telenutrition typically involves an RD or RDN and uses electronic information and telecommunications technologies to implement the Nutrition Care Process (nutrition assessment, nutrition diagnosis, nutrition intervention/plan of care, and nutrition monitoring and evaluation) with patients or clients at a remote location. It requires understanding of the patient’s state licensure requirements. Our services include nutrition consultations, patient education, and self-care bodywork services for the client. It is always our goal to work collaboratively with the patient’s medical provider; but, this is especially true of our telehealth clients.
